Half of the
life we spend thinking about the society which we think is judging us and other
half we end up judging others. Giving explanations, showing off what you feel
in short presenting yourself in every situation. Many times I end up thinking
what is real me?? Lost in so many faces of me in front of the world, sometimes
you feel lost in the crowd. Where’s the place where I can be real me?? Maybe
just in front of myself, and I call this returning to the innocence. I find
myself the most innocent person in the world when I’m alone. Because I’m the
only person who knows the whole truth about myself.
I still
remember that my dad as a professor is very strict in college for his students
but when I and my bro felt lazy and not going like to school he always
motivated us to sleep and bunk the school. J Just to make us feel comfortable. Every
phase of life expects us to play a different role. Me with my friends, me with
my best friends, me with my parents, me in my office and me in front of myself.
Maybe in front of others I have a particular religion but for me the only
religion I follow is humanity. Even a murderer can be a good person if he stops
lying to himself. Crime happens when we lose our innocence and get lost in the
illusions and boundaries built by the society.
As a writer
I look at everything with a philosophical perspective. Even looking outside
from a window inspires me to write about that moment. That’s me. I found myself
because I spent time with me. Just being a techie was never enough for me.
Writing, playing guitar, singing, playing cricket, gardening, sketching,
photography and many more potential creative things I found out when I was
trying to find out myself. Many inventions were accidents, just like that all the
creativity I found out in myself was an accident.
Creating
activities helps you forget stress and pressure in life. When I play guitar
after office I go on humming the tunes till I go to sleep. These activities
keep alive the innocence within you. Being alone doesn’t always mean you are a
loner but it means you found a place to be yourself. Every day I hang out with
my friends still I keep some time for myself. It helps me to judge myself as a
person. Being materialistic you give space for destructive thoughts. Keep up
the balance of life. Don’t eradicate desires and lusts from life but understand
the balance between your desires and needs. Desires are important for your
growth but realization of your needs will keep your roots grounded.
I feel
every person should spend some quality time with themselves. So that no dark
shadows can override your pure souls. You are born innocent, don’t get caught
in the flow, know your own identity and take time to explore yourself. Test
your own limits and you will be amazed to see that you can achieve more than
you expected. Understand the fact that you are your own competitor.
“Life is like tuning a Guitar,
You twist and turn the knobs,
Till you get the perfect sound.”
