Trumpet of non-violence

Today I would like to tell you a story, and it's about you :)
Maybe this never happened to you before but for sometime please imagine that this is the real situation.
So let's begin,

You have a luxurious bungalow, and you live there with your wife and two kids. you have big garden in front of your house with all colorful flowers and you have spent beautiful moments there with your wife and children. You taught your kids to play cricket there, you shared morning tea with your wife there. For this house you are the master, your kids and wife depends on you. This home is the most secured and lovely place you find on this earth. And you have a security guard also who protects you day in and day out. But he won't do anything without your instructions. He salutes you and respects you as a master and he knows his livelihood depends on this job. He never imagined to own such a big bungalow, but yes he feels proud to protect it.

One fine day you wake up in the morning, you come to your window and you see there's a man with a gun in his hand standing in your garden and he has erected his tent too at the same place. You ignore it as you know he is your neighbor and carry on your daily routine. You get into your car, your security guard as a ritual greets you "salam sahab". Your wife and kids live in terror of being killed by this intruder. You go to your office and crib about that neighbor discuss with your friends and come back home at night.

Now next day you observe there are more people in your garden and they have also occupied your hall on ground floor also. Your kids your wife are getting angry and asking you for solutions. Then you decide to talk to one of their leader but of no use. Then again a day pass by and you see you are left with just one small room and everything else is occupied by your neighbors. Now they have put sign boards also with their names on it. But still you don't order your security guard to throw them out. And continue doing useless negotiations with them. And still you happily watch TV with your family. You are rich enough to give up your bungalow to them and buy a new one. But still question is would you give up?

Now lets look at the bigger picture. My country India is driven by such government only. Chinese intruders occupied our land still we have no choice but to sit and watch them occupy our land and discuss about cricket match. Our politicians go and crib in front of media but they can't order our army to take actions.  Imagine this scary situation at your own home. Would you watch this without taking any action? Would you give up your home to these intruders? Won't you ask your security guard to take action? and most important won't you give rights to your security guard to tackle such emergency situations? Or you will just give up on this land?

Look at the history, we Indians never attacked any land or ruled any other land. We believed in non violence. But frankly speaking I'm not proud of it. Because we always let others occupy our land and rule us.   If you can't attack anyone then at-least learn how to protect ourselves. Otherwise this non violence is not our asset but a mere example of Cowardliness.

Returning to the innocence

Half of the life we spend thinking about the society which we think is judging us and other half we end up judging others. Giving explanations, showing off what you feel in short presenting yourself in every situation. Many times I end up thinking what is real me?? Lost in so many faces of me in front of the world, sometimes you feel lost in the crowd. Where’s the place where I can be real me?? Maybe just in front of myself, and I call this returning to the innocence. I find myself the most innocent person in the world when I’m alone. Because I’m the only person who knows the whole truth about myself.
I still remember that my dad as a professor is very strict in college for his students but when I and my bro felt lazy and not going like to school he always motivated us to sleep and bunk the school. J Just to make us feel comfortable. Every phase of life expects us to play a different role. Me with my friends, me with my best friends, me with my parents, me in my office and me in front of myself. Maybe in front of others I have a particular religion but for me the only religion I follow is humanity. Even a murderer can be a good person if he stops lying to himself. Crime happens when we lose our innocence and get lost in the illusions and boundaries built by the society.
As a writer I look at everything with a philosophical perspective. Even looking outside from a window inspires me to write about that moment. That’s me. I found myself because I spent time with me. Just being a techie was never enough for me. Writing, playing guitar, singing, playing cricket, gardening, sketching, photography and many more potential creative things I found out when I was trying to find out myself. Many inventions were accidents, just like that all the creativity I found out in myself was an accident.
Creating activities helps you forget stress and pressure in life. When I play guitar after office I go on humming the tunes till I go to sleep. These activities keep alive the innocence within you. Being alone doesn’t always mean you are a loner but it means you found a place to be yourself. Every day I hang out with my friends still I keep some time for myself. It helps me to judge myself as a person. Being materialistic you give space for destructive thoughts. Keep up the balance of life. Don’t eradicate desires and lusts from life but understand the balance between your desires and needs. Desires are important for your growth but realization of your needs will keep your roots grounded.
I feel every person should spend some quality time with themselves. So that no dark shadows can override your pure souls. You are born innocent, don’t get caught in the flow, know your own identity and take time to explore yourself. Test your own limits and you will be amazed to see that you can achieve more than you expected. Understand the fact that you are your own competitor.

“Life is like tuning a Guitar,
You twist and turn the knobs,
Till you get the perfect sound.”

India Vs Indian

I love my country but i get this feel only on 15th August and 26th January. Loving families, some nice traditions, respect, breathtaking history all these things make me feel proud that I am an Indian.
Let's have a look at the life of an Indian common man. As a child we listen to our parents and go to school. After schooling we enter the real battleground. Now we need admission in a good college. And now if I am born in general category, it's my mistake. Because seats remaining for general category after all reservations is just <50%. Nice now there's 1 more way of getting admission i.e Management quota. Pay 20 lac rupees for a seat in a college and still ur future is unpredictable. And most of these colleges are owned by our beloved politicians. I just love this fact.

After 4 long years u complete ur graduation.
Now the real war starts. Now we expect a good job in a good company to secure our future. For now let's assume that u get it. Starting pay for most of the engineers is maximum 3.0 to 3.5 lac/year. At this phase our age is 23 or 24 yrs. And u are living in an apartment on rent which is owned by an NRI. I assume that in this salary u can barely afford that rent also.

Now in 2 years may be u will get married. And u r expected to own atleast a nice 2BHK flat in a nice locality. Now if you look at the real estate rates in India, it's not at all made for people working in India. Most of the flats are owned by NRIs just for investment purpose giving boost to real estate price in India. I don't say that no one has their own flats in India. But this is the today's reality. If someone has their own apartment it means either they have bought it long years ago before this real estate boom or the owner is on a higher post in government sector or he is a politician or an NRI.

When we have a look at this reality we urge for one thing "I just need one chance to go abroad. My life will be set yaar." If u can't even afford a home in ur salary then why u won't think of moving abroad. And then our government talks about Brain drain.
I just wanna tell our beloved government that before deciding the rates at first have a look at the average salary of an Indian. After all India was not built for a bunch of rich and may be corrupt people. We are working in multinational companies with a hope that someday we will get a chance to go abroad and set our lives. But I say be in India and change the system even if it takes a lifetime. Just kidding. Actually it's impractical for us, if we get a chance we will definitely move away from our country just for sake of making our lives worth living.

A gap between the slums and luxurious apartments still remains uncovered and untouched. Some corrupt politicians still rule our country just replacing the name "British Raj". Real estate rates will keep on rising because many of these projects are investment of our very own politicians. And NRI's will keep on investing their money in India. And we can just watch all these things happen and continue to live on rent in an apartment owned by an NRI.
I am thankful to our Indian government for creating this drift between India and Indians.
I love India but I won't love to be an Indian.
